WINTrio LLC Recognized with 2026 SECAF Government Project of the Year Award
WINTrio LLC is proud to announce that it has been named the recipient of the 2026 Government Project of the Year Award by the Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum (SECAF) during the 18th Annual Government Contractor Awards Gala held on May 7, 2026 in McLean, Virginia.
The award recognizes WINTrio’s delivery of a high impact federal program that provided significant value to a federal customer, further reinforcing the company’s reputation for delivering mission critical modernization, cybersecurity, cloud, data, and digital transformation initiatives across the Federal Government.
This year’s gala held special significance as SECAF celebrated its 25th anniversary, bringing together nearly 500 government contracting executives, industry leaders, and partners to recognize organizations shaping the future of the GovCon landscape.
“Tonight’s winners represent what’s possible in this market. They are driving innovation, building strong teams, and making a real impact across the federal landscape,” said Kathryn Freeland, SECAF Chair, during the awards ceremony.

For WINTrio, this recognition reflects years of commitment to solving some of the Federal Government’s most complex technology and modernization challenges. From cloud native application modernization and cybersecurity transformation to advanced data analytics, automation, and AI driven initiatives, WINTrio has consistently focused on helping agencies improve operational efficiency, strengthen security posture, and modernize mission delivery.
Over the years, WINTrio has supported multiple Federal agencies through large scale modernization and transformation initiatives involving cloud migration, enterprise application modernization, DevSecOps, predictive analytics, cybersecurity operations, and platform engineering. The company has developed and supported mission critical systems across environments requiring high availability, scalability, compliance, and secure operations.
WINTrio’s work with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) has included modernization of legacy applications, cloud migration initiatives, development of reusable cloud platform services, and implementation of advanced analytics and automation capabilities supporting agricultural data operations. These efforts contributed to the development and enhancement of the NASS Integrated Cloud Environment (NICE), a cloud based modernization platform supporting multiple USDA mission systems.
The company has also supported complex cybersecurity and infrastructure initiatives for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), where leadership feedback highlighted WINTrio’s dedication, technical expertise, and commitment to security operations excellence. In one recognition, USCIS Chief Information Security Officer Shane Barney described WINTrio’s work as “excellent work” and stated that the team was “a credit to USCIS’s security program.” Additional DHS leadership praised WINTrio’s ability to consistently meet security objectives, maintain compliance, and support mission critical infrastructure operations.
WINTrio’s modernization and innovation efforts have also been recognized directly by USDA leadership through the prestigious NASS Circle Award for being a top performing vendor, as well as exceptional performance feedback tied to cloud modernization, automation, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives.
“This recognition is a reflection of the dedication, technical excellence, and mission focus of our entire team,” said WINTrio leadership. “We are honored to be recognized by SECAF among such an outstanding group of government contractors and industry leaders. More importantly, we remain committed to continuing our work in helping Federal agencies modernize systems, strengthen cybersecurity, improve operational efficiency, and deliver meaningful mission outcomes.”
SECAF’s Government Contractor Awards are among the most recognized honors within the government contracting industry, celebrating organizations that demonstrate exceptional performance, innovation, leadership, and impact across the Federal sector.
WINTrio would like to thank its employees, customers, partners, and stakeholders for their continued trust and support throughout this journey.
