Job Summary
WINTrio LLC is seeking a Cloud Engineer – Infrastructure & Platform Engineering to support the implementation, configuration, automation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure across Federal IT environments.
This role focuses on deploying and managing cloud services within AWS and Microsoft Azure environments while ensuring infrastructure reliability, scalability, security, and operational performance. The successful candidate will support cloud provisioning, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), system integration, platform engineering, monitoring, and automation initiatives that enable secure and resilient Federal cloud environments.
The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, networking, automation, system administration, and platform operations in enterprise or Government environments.
Job Responsibilities
- Provision, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Deploy and manage cloud compute, storage, networking, security, and platform services.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, or similar technologies.
- Configure cloud networking components, including virtual networks, routing, load balancing, DNS, firewalls, and secure connectivity.
- Support system deployments, upgrades, environment provisioning, and configuration management activities.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, capacity, and operational health.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, platform, networking, and application connectivity issues.
- Integrate cloud services, APIs, enterprise platforms, and infrastructure components.
- Support backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and system resilience initiatives.
- Collaborate with DevSecOps, cybersecurity, application development, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure and compliant cloud operations.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance automation, platform reliability, and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience supporting cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, systems engineering, or cloud operations.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or hybrid cloud environments.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) or cloud automation solutions.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, cloud infrastructure, and system administration principles.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Familiarity with Federal cybersecurity and compliance requirements, including NIST RMF, FedRAMP, or FISMA.
- Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure modernization initiatives.
Work Environment
- Full-time position.
- Remote within the United States.
- Standard business hours Monday through Friday.
- Occasional travel may be required in support of customer meetings, technical workshops, and program activities.
