Job Summary:
As a Log Management and SIEM Data Engineer, you will support log ingestion, parsing, normalization, retention, routing, reporting, and long-term storage across Microsoft Sentinel and related federal security monitoring environments. This role is critical to closing visibility gaps and improving the quality of data used for cyber monitoring and incident response.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support onboarding of Microsoft and non-Microsoft log sources into Microsoft Sentinel.
- Configure, validate, and troubleshoot log ingestion pipelines.
- Support ingestion from AWS CloudTrail, VPC Flow Logs, Entra ID, MDE, MDI, firewalls, VPN, Proofpoint, GitHub, SQL Server, iBoss, Veeam, and third-party systems.
- Monitor ingestion failures, forwarding interruptions, suppression, tampering, and pipeline health.
- Support log normalization, schema mapping, transformation, and routing.
- Support hot and cold storage log retrieval requirements.
- Assist with QRadar legacy log transition analysis where authorized.
- Document ingestion architecture, data flows, source mappings, field normalization, and retention settings.
- Work with SOC analysts and detection engineers to ensure log sources support high-value detection use cases.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Data Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of SIEM, log management, data pipeline, security data engineering, or cloud telemetry experience.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Log Analytics, KQL, and SIEM data onboarding.
- Experience with AWS logging, network device logs, firewall logs, identity logs, endpoint logs, and SaaS logs.
- Understanding of log retention, audit readiness, evidence preservation, and security monitoring requirements.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across network, cloud, endpoint, and identity telemetry.
Tools and Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Log Analytics, KQL, Azure Monitor, AWS CloudTrail, VPC Flow Logs.
- WinCollect, Checkpoint, Cisco, iBoss, Proofpoint, GitHub, SQL Server, Veeam, Cribl or similar tools.
- Certifications preferred: SC-200, AZ-500, AWS Security Specialty, Security+, CySA+, GCIA.

Job Summary:
As a Microsoft Sentinel Detection Engineer / KQL Engineer, you will design, tune, and maintain detection content, Sentinel workbooks, analytics rules, KQL queries, automation rules, and dashboards for a federal client’s security operations environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and configure Microsoft Sentinel analytics rules, workbooks, dashboards, watchlists, and hunting queries.
- Tune existing detections to reduce false positives and improve signal quality.
- Develop KQL queries for identity, endpoint, network, cloud, email, GitHub, SQL, and backup monitoring.
- Align detection use cases to MITRE ATT&CK and federal monitoring priorities.
- Build dashboards for technical teams and executive stakeholders.
- Support ingestion validation, schema mapping, normalization, and log source onboarding.
- Collaborate with SOC analysts to convert recurring investigation patterns into repeatable detections.
- Support automation development using Sentinel automation rules, Microsoft Defender XDR, and Logic Apps.
- Document detection logic, playbooks, data dependencies, and tuning rationale.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of SIEM engineering, detection engineering, SOC content development, or cyber analytics experience.
- Strong hands-on Microsoft Sentinel and KQL experience.
- Experience building dashboards, workbooks, analytics rules, watchlists, and hunting queries.
- Experience with Microsoft Defender XDR, MDE, MDI, Entra ID, and Azure Log Analytics.
- Strong understanding of MITRE ATT&CK, incident detection, and detection-as-code principles.

Job Summary:
As a SOC Tier III Analyst / Threat Hunter, you will handle complex incident investigations, proactive threat hunting, detection validation, advanced adversary behavior analysis, and purple team support for a federal vSOC program. This role requires expert-level KQL, Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, MITRE ATT&CK, and incident response experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex incident investigations and support high-severity escalations.
- Conduct monthly proactive threat hunting across identity, endpoint, cloud, network, email, GitHub, SQL, and backup telemetry.
- Develop and refine hunting hypotheses aligned to MITRE ATT&CK.
- Build and tune advanced KQL queries, detection logic, analytics rules, and workbooks.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Digital Forensics, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8+ years of cybersecurity operations, threat hunting, detection engineering, incident response, or digital forensics experience.
- Advanced hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel, KQL, Defender XDR, and threat hunting.
- Strong understanding of attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures.
- Experience supporting regulated or federal environments with CUI, PII, PHI, FTI, or sensitive data.
- Experience writing incident reports, RCA reports, threat hunt reports, and detection engineering recommendations.

Job Summary:
As a SOC Tier II Analyst, you will perform advanced investigation of escalated alerts and incidents across Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, identity, cloud, endpoint, email, network, SQL, GitHub, and backup environments. This role requires strong analytical ability, KQL skills, incident documentation, and the ability to distinguish real security threats from noise and false positives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate escalated alerts from Tier I analysts and automated enrichment workflows.
- Conduct event correlation across Sentinel, Defender XDR, Entra ID, AWS, firewalls, VPN, Proofpoint, GitHub, SQL, and endpoint telemetry.
- Use KQL to query, validate, and enrich security events.

Job Summary:
As a Senior Security Engineer, you will serve as the primary onsite security engineering liaison for a federal client’s vSOC program. This role supports Microsoft Sentinel operations, Microsoft Defender tuning, log ingestion validation, telemetry gap identification, detection use case validation, vulnerability prioritization, patch governance coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between the remote vSOC team and federal client stakeholders.
- Review Microsoft Sentinel log ingestion, monitoring coverage, dashboards, and detection content.
- Validate and tune detection use cases aligned to MITRE ATT&CK.
- Identify telemetry gaps across identity, endpoints, cloud, network, GitHub, SQL, VPN, Proofpoint, and backup tools.
- Support Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Microsoft Defender for Identity tuning and operational validation.
- Coordinate remediation actions with client IRM staff and system owners.

- Provide technical support during security events, incident escalation, purple team exercises, and continuity tests.
- Help mature the client’s Sentinel and Defender deployment from current-state operations to an optimized security monitoring capability.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Job Summary
WINTrio LLC is seeking a highly experienced Executive Consultant – Wildland Fire / Policy SME to provide strategic advisory support for national wildland fire and aviation management programs. This role supports senior leadership by delivering policy guidance, operational insights, and high-level analysis across federal wildfire initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings deep domain expertise, strong communication skills, and experience operating in complex, high-visibility federal environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic advisory support on national wildland fire and aviation management programs
- Develop and review wildfire policies, frameworks, and operational guidance
- Support senior federal leadership with decision-making, analysis, and reporting
- Contribute to large fire reviews, congressional inquiries, and national program evaluations
- Prepare executive briefings, white papers, and policy documents
- Collaborate with interagency partners (USFS, DOI, and others)
- Analyze wildfire operations, trends, and program effectiveness
- Support coordination of national-level fire response efforts
- Ensure alignment with federal regulations, policies, and strategic objectives
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant experience OR 20+ years in wildfire/fire response domain
- Direct experience in wildland fire operations, policy, or incident response
- Experience with U.S. Forest Service (USFS), Department of the Interior (DOI), or similar federal agencies
- Experience supporting national-level wildfire or emergency response programs
- Strong policy writing, analytical, and research skills
- Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders and interagency partners
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- U.S. work authorization required
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with systems such as WFDSS, ICS, or fire aviation tools
- Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau)
- Knowledge of federal policy development and regulatory processes
- Experience preparing executive-level briefings and decision support materials
- Background in wildfire aviation management (a plus)

Education & Experience

QA Analyst & Automation Specialist
We are seeking a versatile QA Analyst & Automation Specialist with a strong foundation in both manual and automated testing to join our dynamic quality assurance team. This hybrid role combines hands-on automation expertise with business-facing analytical skills to ensure the delivery of high-quality SaaS and integrated applications. The ideal candidate will be proactive, technically adept, and collaborative across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and review business and technical requirements, ensuring clarity, completeness, and
testability.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright (TypeScript) and Java-based frameworks for UI and API validation.
- Execute functionality, integration, regression, and performance testing across SaaS platforms and backend systems.
- Support and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders, including demos and walkthroughs.
- Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and feedback.
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, validate backend data using SQL, and ensure
compliance with OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
- Create and execute performance testing using JMeter for both UI and APIs.
- Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating closely with development and product teams for resolution.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test documentation.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and contribute to evolving QA processes and best practices.
- Evaluate and implement new automation and AI tools to enhance productivity and test coverage.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Java-based automation frameworks and Playwright with TypeScript.
- Proficient in API testing, backend validation, and performance testing using JMeter.
- Experience testing SaaS applications, including integrations and workflows.
- Skilled integrating automation with CI/CD tools (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with MuleSoft Anypoint, OpenAPI, and Swagger specifications.
- Comfortable with version control systems and command-line execution of test scripts.
- Proficient in defect tracking and test management tools.
- Experience with OnBase workflows and DocuSign is a plus

• Minimum 5–7 years of QA experience, with a blend of manual and automation testing.
• Proven track record in framework development, UAT support, and SaaS testing.

Onbase Developer
An OnBase Developer with senior experience to perform software development, support, and testing services in a remote work environment. The resource will report to the Director, Enterprise Document Management.
Responsibilities
- Provide programming support to extend functionality of the OnBase Platform
- Analyze business processes to identify and implement automation of repetitive tasks and scripted job aids Develop APIs between multiple systems.
- Peer review and test new and revised programmatic functionality as requested by another team member to verify visual and functional quality
- Understand business process and requirements to provide technical solutions that meet customer needs
- Research and suggest new approaches and technologies
- Work with internal and external customers and clients to clearly define requirements, uncover business rules and processes, and create user stories
- Work with vendor resources to ensure technical issues are evaluated to root cause
- Implement system enhancements related to OnBase configuration
- Develop and maintain workflow solutions in the OnBase platform
- Coordinate departmental requested changes in the OnBase system including initial analysis to implementation of configuration changes needed to support new business processes
- Create initial training material to support implemented departmental changes
Requirements
- Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science (or equivalent); 3+ years of OnBase development/configuration experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in OnBase workflow/configuration, SQL, .NET/C#/JavaScript; experience with APIs, integrations, and troubleshooting.
- Business Skills: Strong process analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation abilities; experience supporting end-users and creating training materials.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills; detail-oriented and quality-focused.
Preferred: OnBase/Hyland certifications; experience in higher ed, healthcare, or similar industries.
